Tempest Telecom Solutions Completes
Ultrasite Acquisition Contract

 
   

Santa Barbara, September 21st, 2006 - Tempest Telecom Solutions, LLC , http://tempesttelecom.com/, a leading provider of high-quality new, used and refurbished telecom infrastructure equipment and related services, announced today the successful completion of its contract with Chicago-based carrier NEAT Wireless. The agreement called for project management, deinstallation, transportation and purchase of 60 EDGE-ready Nokia GSM 1900MHz Ultrasites and 80 Lucent TDMA sites, together with associated hardware, including DC power and E911 equipment.

“The deinstallation and coordination of the project went flawlessly,” said Lee Berger of NEAT Wireless, “and Tempest Telecom Solutions enabled us to achieve our financial targets on the remarketing of these decommissioned assets.”

“Our technical team is currently in the process of refurbishing and redeploying the equipment to meet the network expansion and maintenance requirements of our Nokia customers,” noted Jessica Firestone, President and CEO of Tempest.
